Summary of This Role

Coordinates various aspects of classroom or other forms of training to include coordination of attendees. May recommend general and specific training programs for organization employees based on required training needs.

Prepares materials per the lesson plans including the rooms, materials, trainers, or other requisite materials or accommodations.

Maintain training records.

What Part Will You Play?

Sets up and coordinates multiple complex training events, to include finding new vendors for consideration, advertising for available courses and course descriptions, sourcing venues, room set-up, organizing attendees and resources, backfilling cancellations and rescheduling courses / classes.

Occasionally provides guidance to lower level coordinators, as directed.

• Handles all day-to-day and less routine inquiries from providers, leaders and team members. Begins to handle complaints and urgent issues.
• Produces moderately complex training reports (reports require post run manipulation within Excel or other desktop software, ad hoc and standard report development is a common requirement).
• Coordinates with external providers / events to include all support. Sources new vendors (where clear cut requirements / specific core contents are provided) while recommending to management for review and approval.

Works with vendor management on onboarding new vendors (to include an required security reviews, non-disclosure agreements, etc.).

Administers payment of invoices and may track training budget.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Exp
• Experience in coordinating other training or human resource functions, or other project / function coordination requiring similar skills and abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp
• Similar learning and development coordination role
