Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Person to join our flight school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming students and visitors, answering inquiries, completing new student enrollments and providing administrative support to flight instructors and staff. The Front Desk Person will be the first point of contact for students and visitors, and therefore should possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet students and visitors, and assist with inquiries regarding flight training programs, schedules, services, and tours
• Provide administrative support to flight instructors and staff, including filing, data entry, and record keeping
• Maintain flight school records, including student files, aircraft logs, and instructor certifications
• Respond to phone calls, emails (accounting and manager), and other correspondence, and redirect them as appropriate
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including stocking supplies and maintaining equipment
• PSI proctoring and scheduling for students
• Assist with marketing efforts, including email campaigns and flyers
• Billing and accounting for students and maintenance through Quickbooks and Quantum
• Updating the website as needed
• Monitor and respond to Wix website contact inbox
• Create team meeting slides for monthly meetings
• Writing financial, acceptance, and extension letters
• Fill out and send PRIA requests for airlines
• Coordinate orientation and paperwork for new students and employees
• Aid in scheduling of meeting and appointments for students and staff
• Other duties as assigned
