Job Posting for Director of Sales Contract Manufacturing at Global Skyware
JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role works to develop contract manufacturing opportunities in the areas of steel stamping, compression molding, and wet/powder paint processes. Global Skyware is working to better utilize our current capital equipment capacity in these areas, and this role will be responsible to locate and development such opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales for those accounts.
- Develop a network in the metal and composites arenas that will allow us to uncover manufacturing opportunities. Attend tradeshows, work with commodity sales reps, etc.
- Project Management oriented around product deadlines and deliverables.
- Accurately report on the status of accounts and transactions.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts geared toward long-term success.
- Develop positive relationships with clients.
- Act as the primary liaison between Global Skyware and the customer to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Successfully establish and manage sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
- Assist with Marketing materials such as models, spec sheets, presentations.

REQUIRED/DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s in marketing, Business, Engineering or related field. Masters preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills and professional appearance, friendly, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic.
- 5 years sales experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently and work flexible schedules as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Understanding of compression molding and steel stamping processes
- Engineering background preferred
- Experience in the composites and/or steel stamping fields a plus
