What You Will Do:
Provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux (Primary OS) environment.
Experience with Linux fundamentals to include bash scripting, patching, and security hardening. .
Troubleshooting experience to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS)..
Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security compliance requirements. Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours, may require less than 10% travel to other local MA/NH locations, or other US RMD Sites as needed.
Qualifications you must have:
Typically, Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or 6 years of directly related experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience with Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in Linux Operating Systems (OS) – preferably Red Hat.
Experience with PC and/or Server architectures and troubleshooting methods and be able to assist in developing solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems.
Master’s degree in IT or STEM related field
Ability to obtain required Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of hire date
Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, VDI, and ESX virtual computing methods.
Experience with bash scripting (Perl is also useful)
Experience with security hardening of Linux systems
An Active US Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance is strongly preferred.
Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Sec CE or equivalent certification and an OS Certification
Experience with Red Hat Ansible, Satellite.
Experience with NetApp data storage and data backup technologies
Experience with Splunk, Nessus, Monitoring Tools

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
