JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, and distribution of payroll via the payroll system.
- Collect and organize reported time and enter information related to employees and pay periods into the computer.
- Verify aspects of payroll related to hourly wages and annual salaries as well as overtime, PTO, and short-term disability.
- Performing data entry and reconciling time reported by hourly employees.
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll.
- Processing payroll deductions and garnishments.
- Reconciling payroll ledgers.
- Respond to and resolve inquiries regarding paychecks.
- Coordinate payroll with the payroll service provider.
- Assist with employee benefits management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2 years of payroll experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and typing/data entry skills.
- Professional and motivated with a strong work ethic.
