Supply Chain Coordinator
TheSupply Chain Coordinator is a full-time position within the Drups E-Commerce team. This position will primarily encompass will include strategic sourcing, supply chain development, demand planning, supplier negotiation, sourcing new products, re-sourcing new suppliers, and placing of purchase orders. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be accountable for identifying new suppliers, maintaining relationships with existing suppliers, and negotiating pricing and terms.
Job Duties
- Utilizing feedback/input from our Customer Service and Production Teams to resolve defects and improve product designs
- Supply chain development and optimization based on the needs of the company’s internal departments
- Manage, track, standardize and establish Standard Operating Procedures for inbound order shipments.
- Execute all inventory management tasks such as quality inspection, labeling, placing, organizing, rotating, counting, and virtual database management
- Determining allocations of correct inventory to the correct sales channels to avoid out of stock.
- Strategic sourcing and vetting new suppliers for reliability, price, and quality comparison. This includes multiple rounds of sampling and testing products for adherence to our strict quality standards and all applicable regulations (i.e. FDA, USDA, Hazmat Shipping etc.)
- Existing/New supplier relations and negotiations. This involves consistently working to maintain good supplier relations and optimal pricing/terms long after a product has launched
- Managing and purchasing inventory related to running the business operations as well as inventory related to products and sales.
- Carrying out End of Month reporting duties related to inventory management.
- Analyzing current/historical sales data to accurately plan, forecast, and place purchase orders for all products, materials, and supplies
- Working with our sales executives to quote lead times and execute orders for customized product
- Continuously communicating detailed timelines, inventory conditions, and status updates for all stock, custom, and new products to all departments involved
- Invoice management and payment scheduling with accounts payable
- Analyzing sales trends and planning for inventory for all channels including Amazon’s marketplace. Setting weekly inventory and fulfillment goals for the production and shipping teams.

- Sourcing and purchasing company & employee computers as needed
· Maintaining operations of and troubleshooting issues of office security cameras, computers, and technology as needed.
· Providing assistance with equipment, software, and other technical issues when needed and working with the Administration Department to coordinate with external IT professionals when these issues need to be deferred to another source.
