What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relocation Consultant position at Glomo?
Our Relocation Consultants play a pivotal role in getting people moved with over-the-top customer service. Youll be responsible for the development of local, long distance, and international residential moves. Like networking? This person must also serve as a company representative at various community and business networking events.
Some of the fun you would be having:
Meet with potential customers at their home to consult on all aspects of the relocation process, perform surveys of items to be relocated, and provide timely and accurate estimates/pricing.
Develop independent sales leads and network with area realtors and leads sources.
Teamwork approach in working with operations for successful execution of projects
Travel throughout a specific territory meeting with potential and existing clients
Scheduling and attending multiple sales appointments daily.
Attending networking events while professionally representing our company
Meet agreed upon and established sales goals
Complete all necessary paperwork and forms that communicate details of the relocation service to be performed and shared internally with the relocation coordinators and operations department.
Submit sales activity reports to management in a timely manner
Do you have:
Minimum high school diploma with some college experience or experience equivalent
3-5 years outside sales experience transportation, moving, storage industry a plus
Reliable transportation
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A talent of being organized
Computer savvy; Microsoft Office; tablet-based sales software
