What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Specialist position at Glytec?

At Glytec we look to hire dedicated and innovative individuals to strengthen our organization. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting effots across our footprint as well as onboarding new employees.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, 2-3 years experience in talent acquisition, proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, and the ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills as they’ll work closely with others across departments in addition to candidates. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume review & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates
  • Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff
  • Review and sign off on job descriptions provided by the hiring manager
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants
  • Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
  • Communicate with employees regularly to promote referral program and internal opportunities
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
  • Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including screening notes, interview notes, and related paperwork
  • Maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed
  • Track and report on key metrics such as time to hire
  • Act as representative of Glytec’s culture as initial face of organization
  • Identify potential barriers to hire and partner with appropriate parties to overcome them
  • Administer preboarding and onboarding process to ensure positive new hire experience
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Work experience in talent acquisition or similar roles
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience with full cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Familiarity with professional networks
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
  • A strong understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar
  • 2-3 years of recruiting experience
  • Minimum of 1 year recruiting experience in the healthcare technology is preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Limited travel may be required
  • Nights and weekends may be required to achieve the goals of the department and the company
