JOB SUMMARY
Gauss Management Research and Engineering (GMRE) is seeking a Program Manager to organize, direct and manage the SACU program.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of all day-to-day activities associated with their assigned program(s). To accomplish this, they have the following responsibilities:
- Must be familiar with the SACU program, structure, and operation.
- Engage in Business Development activities.
- Manage and maintain customer relationships.
- Facilitate program missions, goals, tasks, and requirements.
- Develop methods to monitor progress, and provide corrective supervision, if necessary.
- Resolve and assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between programs.
- Oversee customer meetings.
- Interact regularly with customers and communicate their needs to senior management.
- Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
- Monitor and maintain program schedule to include actual hours worked for any persons working on assigned program(s)
- Maintain travel tracking for all SACU related travel.
- Ensure program executes within budget constraints.
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all paperwork, CDRLs, and reports to assigned program(s)
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field
- Minimum 10 years of in DoD contractor/military experience
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
- Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
- Position will travel up to 30% of the time out of state and overnight to fulfill contract requirements.
Salary : $71,000 - $89,900
