COMPENSATION: Starting $46/hour, commensurate with experience; 1.5x Overtime rate, CEU subscription, Non-taxed Student Loan Repayment Assistance, Signing Bonus and License Renewal Reimbursement

JOB SUMMARY:

Go4 is seeking a head athletic trainer for contract fulfillment at West Broward High School. This position will be approximately 34 hours per week providing athletic training services to student-athletes. This position is open and accepting applications for immediate fulfillment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain overall Sports Medicine program for the school including, but not limited to: injury prevention programs, injury evaluations, injury management, injury treatment and rehabilitation, and educational programs for student-athletes;
• Provide athletic training services for the school’s athletic department including, but not limited to attendance at scheduled team practices, home and away competitions, as deemed necessary by Athletic Director;
• In coordination with supervising physician, review pre-participation physical examinations and coordinate medical referrals for student athletes to determine their ability to practice and compete;
• Work in conjunction with strength and conditioning and coaching staffs to ensure safety in the design and implementation of fitness, nutrition, and conditioning programs customized to meet individual student-athlete needs;
• Maintain up to date health records and injury documentation of each encounter with student-athletes;
• Practice in accordance with education, training and the state's statutes, rules and regulations and abide by principles set forth in the NATA Code of Ethics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BOC Certified Athletic Trainer

FL AT license

1-3 years SSAT experience preferred

Masters Degree preferred
