Job Summary
The Facility and Grounds Technician II is responsible for maintaining the facility by cleaning, organizing, repairing, servicing, installing, and maintaining multiple & different types of mechanical systems at multiple facilities. This position is also required to answer and open the gates for vendors &/or visitors. There will be some offsite facility work at other Gold Flora facilities in CA. This position reports to the Director of Facility located in San Jose, CA.
Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00/hr
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintenance of the facility grounds as needed.
● Repair irrigation and mechanical systems required for an indoor agricultural facility.
● Loading and unloading of deliveries as needed.
● Basic Tenant Repair and Improvements at our retail stores.
● Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
● Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities, not hours; must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
Qualifications
● Facility or similar experience such as Irrigation, Plumbing and general construction.
● Must be 21 years of age or older.
● Must have reliable & own transportation.
● Must have valid Driver License with acceptable driving history.
● Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
Work Environment
- Operations: This position will work in an indoor manufacturing facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and working in close proximity with staff and vendors.
● Janitorial: This position will work in an indoor warehouse facility with varying temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, and working in proximity with customers and staff.
Job Requirements
- Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities, not hours; must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule.
- Must be able to travel to other office locations.
- Ability to use a computer for 8 hours or more.
- Selected candidates will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement or San Jose Police Department.
