Staffing Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Staffing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating staffing needs, ensuring adequate coverage, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Preference will be given to LPN applicants, with a minimum requirement of CMA.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare schedules and complete projection sheets to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Provide on-call responsibilities for nursing staff as needed.
• Assist in the hiring of new staff members, including conducting interviews and facilitating the onboarding process.
• Complete disciplinary action forms regarding attendance issues, as necessary.
• Implement staff appreciation programs to promote a positive work environment.
• Assist with in-service education for staff members as needed.
• Answer phones and provide assistance to callers as appropriate.
• Perform nursing duties as needed, including patient care and assessment.
• Utilize HR software systems for scheduling, payroll, and employee management tasks.
• Assist with employee evaluation processes and performance management.
• Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Perform central supply duties to ensure availability of necessary medical supplies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state of Oklahoma.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification.
• Nursing home experience preferred.
• Previous experience in staffing or HR coordination strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using HR software systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions of established nursing care routine.
• Patience, tact, and a desire to serve others.
