Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Server/Cashier to join our team. As a Server/Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring smooth operations at our establishment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner

- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently

- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales

- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly

- Assist with food preparation as needed

- Operate POS system for order entry and payment processing

- Handle cash transactions, operate the cash register, and provide accurate change

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, kitchen, and cashier station

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

- Strong math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

• This restaurant only has one cashier. You are required to work 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Are there any specific hours that they will need to shut the store down for you?
