Description
Summary:
Ensures that maintenance requests are properly received, logged, and communicated to the appropriate parties. Follows up with the necessary people to make certain issues are completed in a timely manner; and communicates with department management when work order requests are not completed in a timely manner.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Receive phone requests for service and/or repairs from guests and internal departments
Creates, dispatches, tracks, and closes work orders in the system
Monitors work order statuses to ensure that all jobs are received via pagers and/or two way radios
Monitors work orders to ensure all are completed in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of the work order requestor
Informs department management if work orders are not completed in a timely manner or to the satisfaction of the requestor
Receives and dispatches all emergency information to the Engineers, Managers, and the Director of Facilities regarding life safety alarms, bomb threats, elevator entrapments, power outages, floods, etc.
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
Previous dispatch experience using a work order system preferred
Previous experience working in an Engineering/Facilities environment preferred
Previous experience providing outstanding guest service skills over the telephone
Strong organizational skills
Basic computer knowledge
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States
