ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in developing floor standards, merchandising, customer service standards and use selling skills.
- Directly or indirectly trains staff on policies and procedures of Golden Nugget and register training.
- Supervise staff, floor activities, customer interactions, floor moves and use of clientele books.
- Fold, hang, re-do mannequins, maintain stock on/in racks, shelves, glass cases and armoires.
- Analyze business through company generated reports.
- Organize staff and merchandise for conducting physical inventory. Prepare a store layout for use in preparation for the store inventory.
- Coordinate store needs with the Manager.
- Help staff attain sales goals, assist in scheduling staff.
- Supervise shift housekeeping to include shelves, fixtures and glass areas.
- Greet all customers and ring on the register.
- Supervise and assist in ordering paper supplies, office supplies and merchandise (sundries, cigars, cigarettes, etc.).
- Cash out (includes counting cash, checks, charges, comps and completing settlement cards and envelope). Write information on cashier report and return drawer to satellite cage.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationships with all individuals.
- Ability to operate a Point of Sale (POS) system (register) and basic office equipment.
- Ability to work occasional overtime and irregular hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One 1-year customer service experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum age requirement is 21
- Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
- Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
- Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
