Transportation Clerk

Overview

Quality Custom Distribution is Seeking a Transportation Clerk ($19.00) to work at our Franklin Park IL facility.

• Entering BOL’s into our inventory tracking system known as JDE
• Tracking shipments and responding to emails about those shipments being tracked
• Scheduling and monitoring the scheduling of truck loads coming to or transferring out of the DC
• Customer service regarding responding to Starbucks emails about store complaints.
• Invoicing orders for the current day
• Processing orders for the next day
• Must be able to work Weds through Saturday 7am – 5pm.

JOB SUMMARY:  Performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support Operations activities.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Education and experience equivalent to:

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

2 years of relevant work experience in a warehouse/transportation environment

• Relevant department concepts, procedures, and regulations (B)

• Basic office equipment and machinery (PCs, copiers, fax machines, adding machines, calculators, etc.) (B)

• XATA computer system (B)
• PC word processing/spreadsheet software  (B)
