Selected candidates will function as the Front Desk Representative at one of our Training Centers. Greeting students, adjusting schedules and handling a variety of questions, these individuals will be the face of the company when visitors first arrive. In addition, all interns will take part in GOLFTEC University, a hands-on program for Certified Personal Coaches. All GOLFTEC coaches complete this training before they teach lessons to our students. An internship with GOLFTEC will be a strong addition to any golf professional's resume.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf and helping others develop their game. A customer-oriented approach as well as a friendly easy-going personality is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend GOLFTEC University - 1-Week Training Program
* Opportunity to work with "2022 Teachers of the Year"
* Shadow weekly lessons & club fittings given to GOLFTEC Students
* Weekly mock lesson reviews with Director of Instruction
* Handle all incoming calls from customers
* Scheduling & adjusting lessons, practice sessions, and club fitting times
* Informs visitors by answering questions or referring inquiries
* Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction and solve or refer problems
* Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
* Functions as part of the Center Team, along with the Center Manager and Certified Personal Coaches
* Maintain the GOLFTEC Training Center environment, equipment, and technology
* Perform daily opening & closing functions for the Training Center, including preparing the GOLFTEC teaching system for use
