What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary, SVP position at Golin?
Golin Los Angeles is looking for a Temporary SVP. This role will have the opportunity to work on consumer brands, evolving their media relations efforts to break through to consumers.
We are looking for a someone who can help lead and support our team with multiple client projects and develop and sell media strategy across paid, earned, and owned media.
The ideal candidate will have relevant executive senior-level experience in public relations – and within an agency environment.
Please note, this a Temporary role.
Competencies:
You are highly media and client savvy, can provide sound counsel, are up on trends, and can dedicate the time needed to support our clients and team during this temporary period of time.
Skills:
- 12 years of experience in a senior level role, within a public relations agency in a communications role
- Experience working with consumer, consumer/lifestyle, and consumer tech brands
- Highly skilled at providing executive client counsel and finding solutions
- Confident speaker/ presenter
- Extensive experience with earned media activations
- Expert MS Office
- Knowledge of traditional and social/digital best practices
- Ability to write across various types of content; familiarity with monitoring and measurement tools
- Established relationships with key media contacts across all mediums (print, broadcast, online, etc.) a plus
- Experience in managing media campaigns and providing executive level support across a distributed team
