Job Title: Certified Lawn Health Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and certified Lawn Health Technician to join our team. As a Certified Lawn Health Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the vitality and beauty of our clients' lawns through your expertise in lawn care practices and treatments. This position requires a strong commitment to excellence, a deep understanding of horticulture principles, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Safely and accurately apply herbicides to target weeds and unwanted vegetation in various settings, such as lawns, gardens, and industrial sites. Follow prescribed application rates, mixing instructions, and safety precautions to ensure effective control of targeted weeds while minimizing damage to desirable plants and the environment.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' lawns to evaluate health, diagnose issues, and develop tailored treatment plans.
Utilize your expertise in turfgrass management to recommend appropriate fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other lawn care products.
Operate herbicide application equipment, including sprayers, spreaders, and injection systems, proficiently and safely. Ensure that equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and cleaned to optimize herbicide application efficiency and accuracy.
Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices related to herbicide application, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), following label instructions, and implementing proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures for herbicides and associated materials.
Implement treatments with precision and care, following industry best practices and safety guidelines.
Monitor the effectiveness of treatments and adjust plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of services rendered and product usage.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Lawn Care Technician or equivalent credential required.
Demonstrated expertise in turfgrass management, including knowledge of grass species, soil types, and regional climate considerations.
Proficiency in diagnosing and treating common lawn issues such as weeds, diseases, and pests.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with team members.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed.
Herbicides/Pesticides License.
