Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Security Guard Recruiter. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting security guards, maintaining positive relationships with current guards, and ensuring that each guard is thoroughly screened to ensure the best fit for each site. Additionally, you will oversee the training of guards on internal processes such as payroll and contact lists, as well as external protocols including site-specific post orders and the usage of TrackTik and other field-related tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment:
- Source, screen, and interview potential security guard candidates.
- Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, and networking to attract qualified candidates.
- Coordinate and conduct recruitment events and job fairs as needed.
- Relationship Management:
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with current security guards.
- Act as a liaison between guards and management to address any concerns or issues.
- Implement strategies to enhance guard satisfaction and retention.
- Screening and Selection:
- Ensure that all guard candidates undergo comprehensive screening processes including background checks, drug tests, and reference checks.
- Assess candidates' skills, experience, and qualifications to determine suitability for specific sites.
- Collaborate with site managers to match guards with appropriate assignments based on skill sets and site requirements.
- Training and Development:
- Coordinate and oversee training programs for security guards.
- Provide training on internal processes such as payroll systems, contact lists, and company policies.
- Ensure guards receive thorough training on external protocols including site-specific post orders and the usage of TrackTik and other field-related tools.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the recruitment and training process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of guard certifications, training, and performance evaluations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standardized procedures and documentation for recruitment and training processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in recruiting, preferably in the security industry.
- Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software systems.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Able to travel when needed for onboarding and recruitment.
