Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and visitors. Your role will involve monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling premises, and enforcing security protocols.
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats
- Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any security breaches or vulnerabilities
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
Requirements:
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and make quick decisions
- Excellent surveillance skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess a valid security officer certificate/license
