Provides administrative support to optimize Foundation operations and acts as a primary contact for inquiring donors and constituents.
Essential Job Duties:
Administrative:
1. Lead and manage the donor database (Bloomerang) for data entry, mailings, and reporting.
2. Act as the primary contact for donors, requiring strong interpersonal skills.
3. Assist in preparing and managing Foundation meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.
4. Coordinate database projects, updates, and reports; manage lists for major events and campaigns.
5. Handle entry and processing of all types of gifts and manage bank deposits, donor acknowledgments, and tax letters.
6. Perform general office duties and handle telephone communications.
Email, Social Media, and Print Fundraising:
1. Collaborate on donor acquisition strategies using email marketing, social media campaigns, and print mailings.
2. Develop content and maintain calendars for digital platforms and print mailings.
3. Conduct interviews and collect materials for Foundation fundraising and marketing.
4. Plan and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars for digital platforms and lead the production of print mailings.
5. Lead the Foundation Team in the production of the Annual Impact Report.
6. Conduct HIPAA-compliant interviews with key donors, beneficiaries, and constituents to collect quotes, photos, interviews, and insights to be used as part of Foundation fundraising and advertising efforts.
Secondary Job Duties:
1. Understand and effectively use all technology available at Good Samaritan Foundation.
2. Work closely with Good Samaritan Foundation leadership to ensure strict compliance with bylaws, federal laws, and regulations governing 501(c)(3) transactions, donor expectations and agreements, and with Good Samaritan policies and procedures
Job Specifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in fundraising, digital marketing, health or human services management, business development, or sales.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to maintain a high level of poise and professionalism in all circumstances.
Demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for diverse number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.
Ability to work with teams.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs and use of relational databases such as Bloomerang.
