What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Hand position at Goodhue Boat Company?
Summer is here! We are looking for part-time and full-time seasonal dock hands who are 18 years or older for our busy Meredith marina. These dock hands must be available July to Columbus Day in October. This is the perfect job for those who are retired, work at ski resorts in the winter, stay-at-home parents or adults looking to earn some extra money in a short period of time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Booking and renting boats.
· Answering phones.
· Pumping gas on the docks.
· Assisting customers with their rental boats.
· Prepping rental boats for renters.
· Providing first class customer service.
· Cashiering.
· Moving and driving boats (for those with a boater’s license).
· Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
· Good communication skills.
· Customer service oriented.
· Ability to work outside.
· Able to stand for extended periods of time.
· Ability for follow instructions.
· Attention to detail.
· Detail oriented.
· Boater’s license, preferred but not required.
· Ability to drive a boat, preferred.
· Intermediate computer skills.
Salary:
· $14-$16 per hour.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
