Hello and welcome! We are Goodness Dairy. We craft small batch heritage A2A2 ice cream from certified organic and certified regenerative dairy farms upstate NY. We are selling our ice cream at farmer's markets around Long Island and NYC. We are hiring several Managers to run various markets. This job posting is for the Huntington Farmers market on Sunday from 8am to 12:30pm (you work from 7:30am to 1pm).
The Farmers Market Manager oversees and supervises daily operations of a farmers market to assure a smooth and safe running market; set up and break down the market manager tent and market signage, serve as a market host, welcome and engage shoppers; and promote good relations between vendors, our company, and the shoppers.
Requirements:
- Must be punctual.
- Must be an excellent communicator, upbeat, and have a positive attitude.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- An interest in and be able to articulately communicate about local food and ice cream!
Education:
- Bachelors Degree (current college students welcome).
