GENERAL SUMMARY:

The E-Commerce Clerk Processor FT is a full-time position under supervision of the E-Commerce Manager.  The E-Commerce Clerk Processor FT empties store bins and crates on to carts and selects donated products for sale online, thoroughly examines each product to determine the correct condition, manufacturer and other pertinent criteria. Assists personnel in all departments to include but not limited to Listing, Shipping, Electronics/Gaming Systems & Jewelry. Performs daily inventory controls & clean up tasks.    Specific tasks will be assigned by the E-Commerce Manager.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load & unload trucks; product, supplies, shipping packages and stage in assigned locations.
• Empty store bins & crates placing items on cart(s) - disclose any quality issues or damage to items.
• Identify rare, collectible and/or unique items which will generate higher online selling prices.
• Pack, organize & label bins & crates for return to stores
• Clean & test items for proper operation
• Assist with inventory controls
• Ensure clean & organized shelving, work and storage areas as assigned.
• Clean and test products as needed.
• Appropriately pack and ship items to minimize damage.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and possible solutions under the direction of the E-Commerce Manager.
• Ensures own on-line buying and selling does create a conflict of interest or a perception of a conflict of interest for the organization.

Incidental Functions:

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Knowledge of antiques, collectibles & on-line product listing highly preferred.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations preferred
• Knowledge of inventory controls preferred

• Ability to effectively communicate, including reading and writing in English.
• Ability to perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
• Must have an inclination toward repetitive and routine tasks.
• Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of online software and research preferred.  
• Ability to perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.

• Must not present a direct threat to the safety and health of self, others or property.
• Must provide proof of identification and eligibility to work in the United States of America.
• Must be able to perform essential functions E-Commerce Clerk Processor FT job description with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet qualitative and quantitative performance standards as established by the company.

WORK CONDITIONS/HAZARDS: 

• Limited hazards due to lifting, pulling, and pushing merchandise by self or others.
• Requires a high level of adaptability and flexibility.  Work environment usually hectic (fast paced) with frequent short deadlines and regular instances of critical or unusual situations. 
• Field of work includes production area, and warehouse
• May be required to travel to Goodwill locatiions
