Retail Sales Associates are often the first point of contact at our retail stores and responsible for providing exceptional customer service greeting customers and responding to inquiries. This role includes Cashiering duties, organizing and merchandising the sales floor and keeping product organized by following Goodwill standards. Full Time opportunities available!
Minimum Pay starts at $13.50 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- One-year retail sales or cash handling experience desired.
- Must be accurate with numbers and general calculations and have an understanding of the value of different coins and US currency.
- Must be able to use basic math such as adding, subtracting, and multiplication.
- Must be able to operate a computer-based cash register and credit card machine.
- Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, bending and lifting up to eight (8) hours per day.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays with occasional overtime as necessary.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
- Provide excellent Customer Service upholding company values.
- Provide assistance to customers with questions, concerns, and purchases.
- Provide accurate cashier transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer using a computer-based point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking items up off the floor, putting away carts or baskets, putting away returned or unwanted items and cleaning fitting rooms.
- Provide a safe, organized, and well stocked sales floor to include the fitting rooms and coffee bar areas.
- Cross-train in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for other areas as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
