JOB TITLE: Wares Pricer
SUMMARY:
The Wares Pricer is responsible for production in the hard lines department. This individual will price and tag products according to standard operating procedures. He/she will also provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment. This position may also be cross-trained and responsible for duties outside of the apparel pod.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continuously put forth effort in increasing and demonstrating knowledge of apparel and clothing brands.
- Accurately price and tag products based on pricing guide.
- Accurately assess and sort house wares based on quality standards.
- Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
- Maintain a friendly, helpful attitude toward customers at all times.
- Address customer concerns in a courteous and respectful manner, while following retail policies. Seek assistance of supervisor, when necessary, to resolve concerns.
- Assist in enforcing security procedures when employees or customers violate them.
- Act as a positive member of the team at the store by receiving and providing ideas or concerns to coworkers and management in a timely and supportive fashion.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations. This position is required to work nights, weekends and holidays.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous retail experience preferred
