Job title/Department: Kitchen Lead/Culinary Department
Reports to: General Manager
We are growing and currently seeking a qualified Kitchen Lead to oversee the daily operation of Goodwood Brewing Company’s locations. As the Kitchen Lead, you will work closely with the Director of Operations to maintain our standards of excellence in all aspects of our restaurant.
Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
● Lead daily kitchen operations to ensure the proper production of food items and kitchen compliance with company policies and procedures.
● Ensures adherence to established standards.
● Manage food costs, labor costs and labor productivity according to financial guidelines.
● Provide training in food production and equipment usage to the culinary staff within the designated kitchen.
● Ensure that kitchen staff maintains sanitation and cleaning standards set forth by the executive chef and leadership.
● Oversee proper requisition, storage, utilization and inventory of food products.
● Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas, including equipment.
● Ensure that staff report to work as scheduled; document any late or absent employees.
● Ensure that each kitchen work area is stocked with specified tools, supplies and equipment to meet the business demand.
● Complete daily line check ensuring the highest standards of all food items.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Include:
● Minimum of 1 year of Kitchen experience (preferred)
● Servsafe Certification (preferred)
