What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Goose Valley?
Lookign for equipment operators for the following purposes:
Rice Farming:
Soil preparation, planting, harvesting, and irrigation.
Hay Farming:
Applying and safely handling herbicides and pesticides, irrigating, raking, baling, stacking, and loading.
Ranch Maintenance:
Taking care of farm equipment, ditches, fence, roads and buildings.
Data collection and recordkeeping
Requirements
- Experience operating heavy machinery is required, agriculture equipment preferred:
- Tractors
- Harvesting Equipment
- Land Leveling Equipment
- Baler / Forklift / Excavator
- Work onsite, everyday. Housing provided on the property.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
