Job Title: Project Coordinator
Job Summary: The Project Coordinator works with the Project Manager following directives in a support role. They will ensure communication between all parties. Responsibilities include administrative functions, monitoring projects in progress, making meeting arrangements, presentations and training. Will provide support to ensure aspects of a project are dully attended to and completed on time, despite setbacks encountered.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties and Responsibility: Carries out administrative duties by collecting data, sorting, filing and sending out project files to the right personnel, workers, and stakeholders, as directed by the Project Manager.
- Attend meetings with the Project Manager and records all project deliberations.
- Organize meetings, presentations, seminars, training and other events and ensure that all members of the department are invited and well-informed.
- Write letters and correspondence to all relevant bodies and ensure the communication is properly documented for referencing and east of retrieval.
- Drafting project proposal ideas and presenting them to the Project Manager for approval and implementation.
Work Environment: Work can take place inside the office and outside in various temperatures and weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- May require travel.
- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Basic understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Highly detailed oriented.
- Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Ability to manage time effectively and act independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.
Required Education and Experience:
- At least five years of experience as a Project Coordinator
- Self-motivated and proactive – takes initiative
- Teamwork and Collaboration – is able to work collaboratively with people of various backgrounds and styles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
