What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Registrar Support Agent position at Gov Solutions Group?
We have an exciting opportunity for a IT Registrar Support Agent in San Diego, CA. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is a motivated self-starter, with excellent attention to detail, who can perform functions under competing deadlines. The position will provide support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) PAC campus issuing SIPR Tokens.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Trusted Agent (TA) for unclassed PKI tokens (smart cards) at NIWC Pacific.
- Manage token issuance, to include creating, distributing, and revoking tokens.
- Organize and track tokens, and maintain associated databases, inventory, documentation, and reports.
- Provide customer service in person, verbally over the phone, and via email.
- Generate and send reports to external Navy PKI office for reporting lost, stolen, and failed tokens, and shall also package failed tokens and prepare for return to the Navy PKI office.
- Serve as a Local Registration Authority (LRA) for NIWC classified PKI tokens, a TA for unclassified privileged access tokens, and serve as the distributor for any alternate PKI devices, such as the Yubikey USB device, for end users at NIW Pacific.
- Attend and/or read training materials as needed to be officially designated as a NIWC LRA and Trusted Agent.
- Work closely with multiple NIWC Pacific teams, including the Helpdesk, Cybersecurity, and the classified network (SWAN) team.
- Prepare for and participate in Navy Classified Local Registration Authority (LRA) audits.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience
- Superior customer service skills
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Sec Certification
- Knowledge and experience in the NIWC PAC environment
Minimum Education: Bachelors degree or 5 years related experience
Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000, Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
