What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agronomy Manager position at gpac?
Gpac is currently searching for an Agronomy Manager to manage a team at a growing ag retailer. This is going to be a high-level position with tremendous advancement opportunities.
Alongside having a strong operations background, some of the other main attributes they are looking for are someone who can be a coach, mentor, and manager of people, providing direction and strategic planning to meet goals.
Sales Responsibilities:
- Prior experience in seed, fertilizer, and chemical sales
- Managing staff or admin, operations, and sales teams
- Developing & managing operating budgets
- Coordinating product deliveries and scheduling chemical application schedules
- Overseeing multiple locations
Agronomy Manager Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in the Agriculture Industry
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Agriculture related program
- Experience managing an Agronomy Sales team or location
