Asphalt Foreman plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing asphalt paving projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in asphalt paving operations and demonstrate strong leadership skills to effectively coordinate and supervise crew members.
Responsibilities :
- Develop project plans and schedules in coordination with project managers.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, as per project requirements.
- Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Provide guidance and direction to crew members, including training and mentoring as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and safety.
- Monitor and inspect asphalt paving activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all crew members.
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in asphalt paving operations, with a proven track record of successfully managing paving projects.
- In-depth knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting project plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
