Account Manger
Job Description
- Clear understanding of the features and benefits of different styles of health insurance products
- Use of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Daily use of an Agency Management Database
- Entering sales into carrier portals and tracking for follow up
- Coordinating communications between carrier and sales agent
- Monitoring pending cases to ensure they are processed in a timely manner
- Use of proprietary software to run individual life and small group benefits quotes
- Communicating information to employer groups
- Answering customer service questions
- Processing change requests
- Pulling monthly reports
Job Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Small Group benefits market
- Service or Quoting Individual Life policies
- Knowledge of Medicare Supplement Products
- Service, Quoting or Applying for Individual Health policies
