Demolition Foreman Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of demolition projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead and supervise a team of demolition workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute demolition activities according to project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Operate and maintain demolition equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Manage project budgets, materials, and resources to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the demolition industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of demolition techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
