What are the responsibilities and job description for the Division Manager position at Gpac?
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Lead and develop Project Managers in the company in order to drive profitability with each project within the division
Review results monthly with the President. (P/L, performance, improvements, declivity)
Manage daily office operations
Assist President with creating and implementing organizational goals, policies and process enhancements to guide and direct the company
Expand scope of business with current customer base to drive revenue
Build relationships with new and existing customers to increase revenue and generate a larger customer base for the organization
Maintain safety and quality of the highest level within the division
Project and communicate staffing requirements to the human resources department
Responsible for the oversight and estimating, planning, implementing, and execution of various projects
Ensure all projects of assigned division stay within budget and timeline, meeting challenging deadlines and unexpected scope changes
Troubleshoot and resolve project issues
Act as a liaison between field personnel, sub-contractors, management, and administration
Maintain and manage sub-contractor relationships. Assure that work is performed in accordance with project requirements and standards on safety and quality.
Create proforma budget and complete budget analysis monthly for assigned division
Produce cap-ex budget for the division and communicate this to President for inclusion of overall budget
Qualifications:
Construction experience or related education is preferred
A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and all other associated computer skills is a must
Applicable experience in estimating, material procurement and logistics, project execution and close outs
Valid driver license
Pass typcial onboarding
Job related certifications are a plus
