What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flooring Account Manager position at gpac?
Qualifications:
- 5-15 Years of experience in commercial flooring installation and maintenance sales
- Proven track record of success in B2B Commercial flooring maintenance (janitorial solutions) or Installation solutions
- Commercial experience (i.e. Corporate, Education, Healthcare) in an installation environment is a MUST HAVE
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with CEO, President, and Lead Account Manager to achieve annual/quarterly sales budgets, market share, gross margin, and key account growth targets
- Working with the CEO, President, and Lead Account Manager to develop personal sales goals and a business plan to achieve them with a primary focus on the targeted market channel specialties.
- Make contacts and cultivate relationships with various industry decision-makers within each business segment.
- Take proactive action to drive increased sales performance in order to achieve commercial flooring sales objectives.
- Consult with potential customers to layout, design, & coordinate flooring selections. Working with both General Contractor customers and end-users.
- Use commercial flooring product knowledge to determine the scope of work, specify products, answer customers' questions, and close the deal.
- Meet with the CEO, President, and Lead Account Manager monthly to evaluate market channel data growth and call results based on your weekly reporting.
