What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grain position at Gpac?
Gpac is working with Coops in the Mid-West to fill Grain Originator and Grain Merchandiser positions. These positions are with fantastic companies that offer excellent compensation and full benefit packages.
Duties may vary by company but would include :
Responsibilities :
- Understand local / regional grain markets, including market movement, price action, factors influencing price.
- Make quotes and prepare contracts for sales and purchases.
- Maintain relationships with customers and business partners.
- coordinate logistics of grain movement within the company.
Requirements :
- Associate’s degree or equivalent training.
- Great customer service skills.
- Previous experience with truck / rail grain facility
