Schedule :
- 2nd shift : Monday-Friday, 3 pm-11 : 30 pm
- 3rd shift : Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm-7 : 30 am
Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves leading preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting process equipment, and executing equipment repairs / modifications.
The majority of your time will be spent on the production floor, working directly with the equipment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.
- Respond to maintenance requests from the production team.
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
- Work with OEMs for technical support via / email.
- Ensure uninterrupted customer supply by maintaining equipment functionality.
- Uphold cGMP compliance and safety standards.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Proficiency in reading technical documentation (drawings, schematics, blueprints, P&IDs).
- Hands-on experience with automated equipment, PLCs, manufacturing, and robotics.
- Proficiency with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and basic hand tools.
- Knowledge of devices and instrumentation used in automated machinery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Office 365 products (Word, Excel).
- Prior experience using RCA to determine failure mode and implement solutions.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in a cGMP environment.
- Ability to use PLCs for equipment troubleshooting.
- Competency with general fabrication (machining, welding, sheet metal forming).
- Experience maintaining fill / finish, packaging, and sterilizing equipment in a pharmaceutical or F&B environment.
- Uphold SQF requirements and promote a strong food safety culture.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts.
- Frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 65 pounds.
- Frequent bending, crouching, or twisting.
- Work in various adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights, and temperature extremes.
