Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the transportation and logistics industry
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base
- Present and promote the company's Expedited Freight services to secure new contracts
- Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of services
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas
- Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations to key decision-makers
- Generate and follow up on leads, cold calls, and referrals
- Develop sales strategies and tactics to achieve monthly and annual targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM system
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Outside Sales, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to think on your feet
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive market
