What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside sales rep position at Gpac?
We are seeking an Outside Sales Rep to join the team of a reputable client. Your most important duty is about creating an nurturing relationships.
You will be responsible for increasing the level of personal interface with existing customers and adding new customers.
The territory for this position includes Michigan (excluding the upper peninsula), Indiana and Ohio. This position does require travel 3-4 days per week, with 1-2 office days per week.
Most travel can be conducted with day trips, but occasional overnight travel (2-3 nights per month) is also required. Company vehicle will be provided and travel expenses will be covered by the company.
Requirements for Outside Sales Rep
- At least 2-4 years of experience in sales
- Background in home improvement, specifically cabinetry or kitchen and bath design
- Familiarity with different sales techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and consistent follow-up
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attend trade shows for the industry
- Valid driver's license
