Role Overview :
In this role, you'll work in an outpatient setting, catering to all age groups, and providing orthopedic and muscular-skeletal care, sports rehab, and post-operative support.
Your responsibilities include organizing and implementing physical therapy programs aimed at restoring function and preventing disability post-disease, injury, or surgery.
You'll help patients regain maximum performance, resume Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and enhance functional abilities.
Educational services may also be provided to hospitals, outpatient clinics, and communities to promote injury prevention and overall health.

Qualifications :
- Completion of a Physical Therapy program and possession of a Bachelor of Science (BSPT), Master's degree (MSPT), or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT).
- Current Physical Therapist license in Michigan
The role requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
You should possess strong interpersonal skills, work well under pressure, and exhibit basic computer proficiency, especially in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
Exceptional customer service, organizational, and prioritization skills are essential. Maintaining confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information is imperative.
Physical Requirements :
This position entails standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other physical activities necessary for patient care and the operation of medical equipment.
Proficiency in using computers and standard office equipment is expected. You'll also educate patients on the use of adaptive and therapeutic equipment.
