What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piping Foreman position at Gpac?
Piping Foreman responsible for managing the top quality service and maintenance for systems, and equipment on the job site, must be an experienced leader.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee up to 6 technicianss ensuring top quality work is produced on schedule, in budget, and safety everyday.
- Perform quality service and maintenance on large commercial equipment
- Ensure communication with your Manager
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment as required in the vehicle.
- Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job.
- Hold weekly safety meeting for staff
- Wear proper PPE at all times and comply with all safety standards and processes.
- Identify and report to Management all potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).
- 5 years' experience in service/maintenance/install/replacement/repair of equipment.
- Experience running small to medium crews.
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
- Ability to ask questions when unsure
