What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Gpac?
Gpac is partnered with a well established Manufacturer of Heavy Equipment that is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join their team. A person in this position would be responsible for taking the strategic product planning and driving execution to ensure the launch of new products utilizing the stage gate process.
Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Program Manager Qualifications:
- 5-10 years experience as a Program or Project Manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Agriculture or similar required; technical background preferred.
- Ideal experience within Agriculture, Automotive, or Heavy Equipment Manufacturing.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Able to travel locally and nationally up to 25% of the time and as needed.
