About the Role :
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Route Supervisor to join our team in Santa Barbara! As the Route Supervisor , you will lead a team of drivers to ensure efficient and safe waste collection services.
Your role as the Route Supervisor will be crucial in maintaining compliance with company policies and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coaching & Development : The Route Supervisor will regularly engage with frontline employees, enhancing safety and productivity.
- Efficiency : The Route Supervisor will optimize routes, reduce unnecessary overtime, and improve operational plans.
- Performance Management : As the Route Supervisor , you will investigate incidents, audit route operations, and resolve customer issues.
- Employee Engagement : The Route Supervisor will build a collaborative team environment, support career goals, and drive engagement.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in waste management.
- Skills : Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Education : High school diploma or GED.
- Licenses : Valid driver's license, Class B with air brakes is a plus.
