What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales agronomist position at Gpac?
Our multi-million dollar Ag client not only focuses on their customer’s success, but also to see their employees grow and flourish.
They are looking to hire a Sales Agronomist who can hit the ground running covering a territory in the region.
Sales Agronomist Responsibilities :
- Service current growers as well as prospecting new clientele
- Sell chemical, fertilizer and seed products throughout a given territory
- Work independently and stay up to date with agronomic technology
- Give agronomic recommendations
- Perform soil / tissue samples
Sales Agronomist Requirements :
- General computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Self-motivated, ambitious and goal-driven
- 2 years sales experience in an agronomy-related role is preferred
- Agronomy / Agriculture degree is preferred
Sales Agronomist Compensation :
Base salary of 60,000-85,000 DOE plus bonuses
