Remote Brokerage Sales Representative (Commission Only)
We are seeking someone who will connecting customer needs with carrier solutions through vans, flatbeds, containers, warehousing, LTL, heavy haul, and specialized services.
As a Remote Sales Representative you will focus on expanding customer base by helping customers move their product in the most cost-effective way possible.
You will have the opportunity to sell services to the customer, but to also continually service those customers’ ever-growing transportation needs.
Being team-centric, yet individually driven will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails
- Understand customer needs / requirements and provide them with top notch transportation solutions
- Grow and develop accounts to their highest potential through strong customer relationships and referrals
- Partner with operations leaders to ensure your customers are provided with outstanding service
- Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments within the logistics industry
Requirements :
- Willingness to go above and beyond for our customers
- Strong negotiation skills persuasiveness, aggressiveness, confidence
- Self-driven with a desire to succeed
- Ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Prior sales, operations or customer service experience preferred
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Modern Office Technology
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus
- 2 years experience or more in a logistics / brokerage sales role required
