  • Excellent attention to detail with an aptitude for understanding new technology
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to balance multiple
projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong degree of self-motivation
  • Proficiency with internet-based software's like google-suites
  • At least five years of related experience required in sales management and solar energy
  • And/Or, Bachelor's degree in related field, which may include Business, Sales & Marketing, Applied
Technology, or Engineering etc

Responsibilities
  • JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the sales department including departmental staffing, training, product offerings, planning, pricing, reporting, forecasting
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITIES: Manages inside sales/sales support, and solar consultant/outside sales representatives
  • Manage your assigned sales team
  • Develop market sales strategy with key stakeholders
  • Implement sales strategy, track, and report on KPIs
  • Develop and implement growth strategies
  • Training and developing staff both in and out in the field
  • Coaching / Motivating staff
  • Performance evaluation of staff
  • Responsible for overall department sales performance
  • Assist marketing department with implementing marketing and communications strategies
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings with your sales team
DUTIES:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong degree of self-motivation
  • Proficiency with internet-based software's like google-suites
  • Classroom or field experience in solar energy or related technology strong preferred
Education and Experience:
  • At least five years of related experience required in sales management and solar energy.
  • And/Or, Bachelor's degree in related field, which may include Business, Sales & Marketing, Applied Technology, or Engineering etc.
  • NABCEP Technical Sales professional certificate strongly preferred
