RESPONSIBILITIES for Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer :
- Design various @types of fire sprinkler systems for both new construction and existing remodels
- Plan and coordinate utilizing fire sprinkler design software
- Establish new and ongoing professional relationships to meet client expectations
- Evaluate contract documents and coordinate with contractors/owners to obtain all required information to complete project designs
- Correspond with other departments to ensure proper documentation process
- Oversee planning and scheduling of projects
- Monitor and lead projects to comply with safety and quality standards
- Recognize and delegate changes in projects that impact schedule, cost, and labor
- Prepare and oversee project billings with accuracy
- Regularly monitor progress of project(s) and review reports to ensure compliance
- Ensure work is compliant with all Federal, State, and Local codes and permits
QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer:
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to determine construction feasibility and systems possibilities
- Experience in fire sprinkler design software (SprinkCAD is a plus)
- NICET Certification (Level 3 & 4 preferred)
- Ability to plan accordingly
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Possess great communication and people skills
- Phone, Email, and Computer-friendly for basic communication
- Microsoft Office proficiency
