What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent (Site Development and Paving) position at Gpac?
We've joined a reputable construction company that is looking to add a detail-oriented an dedicated Superintendent to join their growing team. Essential Functions of the Superintendent:
- Ensuring the project is being built to all applicable codes.
- Site Safety requirements are being followed.
- Project Quality Standards are being met.
- Coordination of Manpower on site through the Construction Manager.
- Coordination of Subcontractors.
- Coordination with Vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Perform and Coordinate of required Inspections.
- Maintaining Project Schedule and building to that schedule with final approval from the Construction Manager.
- Sets performance goals and deadlines that supports the schedule.
- Assistance in developing Change Orders through the Construction Manager.
- Leading all Weekly Project Meetings with the help of the Construction Manager.
Qualifications of the Superintendent:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience previous Project Management or Superintendent.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- OSHA certified (10 hour minimum, 30 hour desired)
- Reliable and dependable to adhere to company policies and ensure projects are carried out to the desired quality as determined by company, schedule, and budget.
